What do you make of how certain events are predicted in the Simpsons and on Johnny Bravo? To start off the company that made the cartoons have no way of predicting the future. Let’s just make that clear. Now what about Al-Qaeda they might have enjoyed watching the shows and maybe had gotten inspiration for them. They could have used the posters from the show to think of their idea to destroy the Twin Towers on 9/11. Maybe they planned for it to go down that day so the cartoons predictions would come true. All these theories are just ideas, but they could be possible.

Should social media platforms operate regardless of truth? If someone posts something that is a lie, they are just using their freedom of speech. No-one has to believe him, but he could say whatever he wanted and not be penalized unless it was hate speech. People make up dumb stories all the time and regardless of it is true or not they still make it up as a story. I don’t think there should be a big hinderance on people’s news they put out there. People just have to accept what they read. They can either take the information and use it or never think of it again.

Can the government regain its trust from the people after losing it after doing something wrong and lying about it?  Well it depends on the person, but if I speak off of my perspective, I think no one would ever trust the government again. How could you trust something that was meant to protect you but lied and did things against what the people wanted. This would make people lose instant trust in the government and I think people would freak out if our government went down like that. Some people would think of it like the end of the world.
